DASH ‘N’ SPLASH PRODUCES WAVE AFTER WAVE
OF UK RECORDS
It’s tremendously exciting and as much fun as you
can probably ever have with a dog! Dash ‘N’ Splash is the latest
in a long list of firsts for MDS and was launched in 2005. It
has all the important magic ingredients - great canine athletic
ability, a competitive format that's full of fun for dogs and
handlers alike and a modern, attractive infrastructure geared to
the viewing public.
Anton Wittwer of MDS says “We knew dogs would love the water but
were surprised at how much the handlers and spectators,
especially the young ones just love getting splashed.
At the Kent County Fair at the end of May the UK and European
record was equalled and then broken no less than 3 times. The
standard was at a level unseen before in two years of Dash ‘N’
Splash competitions and gave the crowds who had braved the bad
weather something to cheer for.
The winner, a Labrador cross Pointer, aptly named Dash
eventually took the prestigious Frog Trophy home with him after
recording a jump of over 25 feet. There will be no shortage of
dogs trying to take Dash’s new crown away at Paws in the Park.
Essentially Dash ‘N’ Splash is a measured long jump into

The Dash 'N' Splash has proved very popular at MDS events and
due to high demand to avoid disappointment if you are coming to
the show and wish to have a go there will be a limited number of
timeslots allocated for people to book at £3 per dog.
